GRADY ** LOS ANGELES** Cairn Terrier Male for sale in Los Angeles, California

My story
Introducing Grady...... Grady Gravy as his foster mom likes to call him......Where do we start?  Grady was a stray here in los angles, He had been hiding under a car for a few days, when a concerned citizens became aware of his situation. After trying several days unsucessfully to gain his trust, the good samaritain posted on social media his situtation. Local rescue angels  formed a plan and were able to secure him. After doing the mandatory stray hold, Grady became available to the public after his owners failed to claim him.  Shelter life is hard on some dogs. Grady was not showing well and was highly stressed.Lucky for grady, one of our fosters is friends with his rescuers so she had been following his story and wanted to help him out. Grady has been with his foster since 5/23/19. He has had to overcome some medical issues which were proven hard to diagnose and treat due to his very anxious and umpredictable behavior. He is finally completely vetted and physcially he is healthy boy. Grady currently is still working on trust and what its like to live in a home. He has started to socialize with a foster puppy that is also staying in his fosters home. He loves pets and giving kisses, but does not like anyone to pick him up. Grady will be going to a live in trainer soon and we hope to see major improvements. If you are intrested in meeting Grady and want to be part of his recovery and possibly adopt him, please fill out an application and lets talk. This is a very special boy, who once we break thru this fear, he will shine..... and boy is he a good looking dog.1/30/20 Update on grady. Grady has come a long way since he first entered into rescue. He recently spent 5 weeks lving with a trainer where he learned some basic commands. He is now comfortable being leashed up and going on walks. Loud noise still bother him, but no longer send him into a panic. Grady still has a ways to go and will continue training with his foster mother. Grady has been failed so much by humans that he has zero trust in strangers. We will continue to work on building that trust. We are currently working on picking him up, this is a big fear of grady. Grady needs a quiet home with a super patient owner. He is a funn little guy who once he trust you is a sweetie. Grady will need a yard as he will not go potty on a walk yet. He also will pee when scared or when not on a very tight potty schedule. If you would like to meet grady or learn more about him and his needs please contact ginawtrwest@gmail.com##514640##
