DESCRIPTION:
1971 Ford Bronco that I have possessed considering that March 2010. Perfect entry Bronco for somebody who doesn't want to break the bank on an entirely recovered truck, but does not wish to drive a beater that requires work. Visually it looks excellent and it runs excellent ... can be a day-to-day motorist Paint is in decent shape. Some rust, and engine shows some weathering. Some dings on the outside that offer it some character, but absolutely nothing crazy. Interior is exceptionally clean. Not an excellent Bronco, but far from a project truck ... so pricing it right in the middle. The history: I purchased it from a seller in Long Beach, who had actually acquired it from a seller in Arizona, who originally acquired it from a seller in Santa Monica. So basically, this has actually been a west coast truck. When I purchased the vehicle it had 35,500 miles on the REBUILT 302 engine. It currently has 43,046 miles (again, this is mileage on the brand-new engine, the frame/body has unidentified quantity of mileage). I used the truck as my daily motorist for 2 years to go back and forth from the South Bay to Hollywood. For the previous two years, its mainly been stored inside in a storage unit and only driven during the summertime for pleasure. Incredibly dependable truck, launches without problem. At one point it sat for 2 months in storage when I was traveling, and still ignited on my return. The only factor I put it in storage in the first location was since I moved and didnt have a garage and didnt want it to obtain too weathered down by the beach. Otherwise, it would have been my day-to-day motorist for the previous 4 years. Im parting with it since I just don't drive it as much as I used to and cant justify the storage expenses. I just had a new battery and trigger plugs added, had the radiator flushed, and oil changed. I had all the lights replaced, however do need to still get the brand-new front turn signal uses set up so that those are in ideal working order. Ill do that prior to completing the sale. The great: -Clean California title, VIN number engraved in glove box matches current CA registration, -Pre 1973, so not needed to ever have a smog check in California -3 speed AUTOMATIC transmission -B&M Pro Ratchet Shifter -Power guiding -Grant steering wheel -Vinyl Door panels and quarter panels -Deluxe Bucket seats (manual recline and manual forward/backward adjustment) -3 point shoulder seat belts -Fold and tumble rear bench seat with lap safety belt -Locking security center console -6 point roll cage -Rear PreRunner Bumper w/ Tire & & Gas Can & Cooler Rack -Front PreRunner Bumper w/ Fender Guards (NO wench) -Hella Halogen lights (two working, will have other two rewired prior to sale) -Dan 44 front axle -Fiberglass hood -22 gallon rear gas tank (front gas tank has actually been gotten rid of) -Full canvas soft top, however no windows (I eliminated them and they got buried under some products in storage and destroyed. But all hardware is already installed, so you would simply have to purchase a brand-new top and could install yourself) -3" lift -33" BF Goodrich All Terrain tires with excellent treads -Front and rear rancho shocks -Go Rhino trucks steps on both motorist and passenger sides -Windows work terrific, smooth roll up and down The not so good: -Drum brakes all around. This shouldnt be a concern if youve driven with drum brakes. They simply take some time to get use to if you havent. However they were changed right prior to the truck entered into storage and are in terrific shape. -Carburetor, not fuel injected. Has actually always started up without problem (Edelbrock carburetor) -Gas gauge does not work, so just have to note your mileage - Speedometer was never synced up with the lift/increased tire size. Just have to understand that you will be going about 10mph slower than what your speedometer states. -No wipers (again, west coast truck that experiences generally no rain, so they were removed for aesthetic purposes) -No radio/stereo or speakers (there was one set up eventually as doors have speaker holes installed) -Drivers side door lock does not work, needs a brand-new locking mechanism -Steering is a bit loose, however that is common on these older trucks. -No weather-stripping on driver.
